Mono-Reagents

If the instrument used does not permit a real sample blank, the first reading has to be done as soon as possible after pipetting the diluted antiserum, usually 5 – 10 seconds after mixing sample and antiserum. This first reading is considered as sample blank value (OD1).
The final result is obtained by substracting the first (OD1) from a second reading (OD2).
APTEC Diagnostics offers following mono-reagent kits:

AUT-Kits

AUT-kits can be used when the instrument permits a bi-reagent pipetting and reading procedure . Note that all AUT kits do not require sample dilution (no-SD) except IgG (2nd generation) that requires sample dilution (SD). AUT stands for automated kits and APTEC Diagnostics offers all parameters listed hereunder:

250-50 product line

This is the “no reagent waste” product line. Buffer and antiserum are always added in a 250:50 volume ratio and is identical for all the instrument applications. Most parameters require sample dilution (SD) except those mentioned (no-SD) in the attached list. The sample volume is adjusted to give accurate results with this buffer:antiserum volume ratio.

Urine- and CSF-kits

The concentration of some specific proteins in Urine and Cerebro-Spinal-Fluid are subtantially different compared to their concentration in serum. For this reason APTEC Diagnostics developed following dedicated kits:TDM – kits

Based on latex technology, APTEC Diagnostics offers following TDM kits: Carbamazepine, Digoxin, Digitoxine, Gentamycin, Phenytoin, Phenobarbital, Theophyllin and Valproic Acid. Applications are available on most current clinical chemistry analyzers (applications are provided on request).

BNA® – Antisera

APTEC Diagnostics produces antisera, dedicated to the Behring Nephelometer Analysers® . Some parameters are adapted to the original Behring procedures, others are running on the instrument under APTEC procedures.

  • Running under Behring Nephelometer® Procedures
  • Running under APTEC Procedures

Calibrators/Standards

APTEC Diagnostics offers a wide range of standards and standard sets, all calibrated against international reference preparations (CERM470, IFCC,…), if applicable, to accurately calibrate your clinical chemistry analyzer or nephelometer:

  • single component standards
  • multi component standards

Kit inserts of standards/standard sets are different because of the assigned values per lot, please ask for the most recent kitinsert of the standard(s)/standard set(s) listed below. A lot specific insert is added for each product for your convenience.

Controls

APTEC Diagnostics offers a wide range of controls, all calibrated against international reference preparations (CERM-470, IFCC,…), if applicable, to accurately control your test results:

  • Single-component controls
  • Multi-component controls

Kit inserts of controls are different because of the assigned values per lot, please ask for the most recent kit insert of the controls listed below. A lot specific insert is added for each product for your convenience
